Oriel L'Absolu 2002
A 350-case wine made from 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet
Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Malbec from the oldest wines in
Dr Alain Raynaud's vineyard for the new ORIEL label. Huge colour, but
not thick and inky, just lovely purple red, very fine blackberry nose
lifted by the aromas of Cabernet Franc, supple and seductive with very
good length.
