Altezza, or the heights, is named for the picturesque fortress town of Montalcino which rises dramatically above the Sienese countryside in Tuscany.

Vines planted in ancient limestone and galestro soils on the prestigious southern hills of Montalcino. Rigorous pruning and selection. Aged for 48 months in oak barrels and 12 months in bottle.

Aroma: Ripe cherry and lush black fruit with notes of spice and cocoa. Taste: Spiced plum and earthiness perfectly balanced with delicate, sweet tannins.
