Midnight Rambler is named for our winemaker who walks the vineyards the night of the harvest, checking the grapes for perfect ripeness.

Low-yielding clay, loam and gravel soils from the famed Rutherford bench north of Oakville, California. Cold soak and extended maceration. Aged in Hungarian, French and American oak barrels (70% new).

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Picked: October 27, 2006.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Wild berry, boysenberry and violet. Taste: Ripe cherry, plum and spice with a hint of Rutherford dust.
