Name Story
Les Pavés is the French word for cobblestones, named for the rocky vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape that appear "paved" with stones.

40–80 year-old vines on clay and limestone soils surrounding the Château in this historic town just north of Avignon. 25 days extended maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in small barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Grapes
70% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre. Picked: September 30, 2005.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Wild cherry and strawberry with a hints of violet and herbes de Provence. Taste: Full-bodied and complex with soft plum, musk roses and spice with a rich finish.
